Greek Frappe

I’m completely obsessed with coffee; hot, cold, espresso or latte, you name it I love it! One of my favorite coffee type drinks to make in the summer time is this delicious Greek Frappe coffee drink. It’s cold, unique, easy to make and yummy!

~ Ingredients ~

**1/2 teaspoon Instant Espresso coffee (my favorite is Nescafe Clasico)**

1/4 cup Silk Almond Milk (or milk substitute of your choice)

Ice cubes

1 cup water

Martini shaker (or sealed tight water container)

Makes 1 serving of Greek Frappe

~ Directions ~
Get a martini shaker or a spill proof water container and add 3-4 ice cubes into martini shaker next add water and instant espresso. **If you like your coffee stronger like I do – double the Nescafe to 1 teaspoon**  Then cover and shake for 15 seconds.

{Greek Frappe without milk added}

After shaking Greek frappe open martini shaker and pour into desired glass or coffee mug, then add your choice of milk! Stir and serve immediately.

Let me know if you try out my Greek Frappe recipe and what you think about it! I hope you love it as much I do! It’s also fantastic with Kahlua for a late night kick! Hope your having a simply fabulous week so far!

Motivational Monday

Hi dolls! I hope everyone had a simply fabulous weekend and a very happy Mother’s day! I can’t believe it’s already mid-May, I don’t know about you but time has literally flown by for me this month! Since it’s the beginning of a new week marks the start of motivational Monday! I stumbled upon this quote last week and it totally hit home with me, hope it does for you as well!

“I became successful due to several reasons. I never gave up and I never let anyone or anything get in my way. I use the power of positive thinking to tackle obstacles and challenges so they don’t defeat me.” Lillian Vernon, founder Lillian Vernon Corporation

I very much so enjoy this quote by Lillian Vernon because I feel I’m a very positive minded individual and it has driven me to do what I currently do teaching swimming lessons and being a swim coach. As well as I’m currently in the process of launching another business that I can’t wait to share the website launch with all of you! I hope everyone has a simply fabulousness Monday and a fabulous start to a new week! Good luck! xoxoxx

DIY neon jewelry

Hi dolls! I’m so happy to say I’m done with my finals so I will be able to blog again more regularly! I hope you all are doing wonderful and had an amazing weekend with your friends & family. One of the biggest trends right now is neon colored jewelry for spring & summer! I love this new trend and wanted a quick fix so I used one of my favorite necklaces from Bebe that isn’t summer or spring ready but with a little touch of some of my favorite colors it’s simply perfection.

{Before picture of my necklace with the nail polishes I used (left to right) Chanel Mimosa, Essie Tart Deco and Sally Hensen Kook-A-Mango}

I hope you will try this fun & easy DIY transforming one of your pieces into a spring neon statement piece that will bring a little something special to your spring and summer wardrobe. It works great with rings, bracelets & etc. I suggest skipping a stone like what I did. To remove the nail polish use of course nail polish remover and q-tips! Let me know if you try it out! Hope you have a fabulous rest of your week dolls!

xoxo

Motivational Monday

Hi dolls! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready to start a new week! My week is jammed pack with 3 tests, 2 papers due, presentation and swimming lessons but at least on the brighter side of things the semester is almost over! Today’s motivational Monday quote is a great inspirational quote for entrepreneurs as well as students and well anybody for that matter.

“The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.” – Nolan Bushnell

I hope you have a wonderful Monday and feel motivated to start the week off right and will be a doer not just a dreamer! Good luck! xoxo

Sex and the City Interior Obsession

This past weekend I had a Sex and the City movie marathon at my house which inspired today’s post! Although Sex and the City is known for all the gorgeous fashion with various luxury labels and they also have outstanding interior design all over the place! Here are some of my favorite interior shots of Carrie’s fabulous life!

{Carrie’s simply fabulous apartment. I absolutely love the color palette the designers used the only thing I would change would be the bedding}

{I love Carrie’s mirrored vanity and the stunning blue walls}

{Sex and the City movie Carrie’s dream all white closet that big surprised her with is simply stunning! Every girl would kill for this closet.}

{From Sex and the City 2, Carrie and Big’s closet is perfect for a his/her closet!}

{Cites for pictures 1, 2, 3, 4)

My favorite quote of Sex and the City 2 is the closing statement from the stylish and simply fabulousness Mrs. Carrie Bradshaw “Take tradition and decorate it your own way. Think of it like the woman in Abu Dhabi, or like the movies in black and white, relationships come in a range of colors and options!”

Motivational Monday

Hi dolls! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Now the start of a new beginning of a week and motivational Monday!

“For every failure, there’s an alternative course of action. You just have to find it. When you come to a roadblock, take a detour”  Mary Kay Ash founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics

“Never give up on your dreams…Perseverance is all important. If you don’t have the desire and the the belief in yourself to keep trying after you’ve been told you should quit, you’ll never make it!” Tawni O’Dell Author of Back Roads

I hope you feel motivated to persevere and follow your dreams! Good luck dolls! xoxxx
