MM: Self image

Hi dolls! On today’s Motivational Monday I wanted to share this very inspiring video from the Dove Real Beauty campaign. It is truly such an amazing, inspiring and eye opening video about how we view ourselves so much differently than how others see us. I know I’m guilty of being very critical of myself. After watching this video it brought tears to my eyes.  Especially as women we are so much harder on ourselves than men because we compare ourselves to much to other women. Then we start to beat up our inner-self with negativity instead of being positive and being proud of who you are! If you haven’t seen this video already I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did and that it brightens up your Monday! Proud to be you and be simply fabulousness!

Recent styling work

I recently shared with y’all why I have been super MIA and extra busy the last couple of months that I have been doing some fashion styling jobs with an awesome photographer friend that goes by Axial Fashion. It has been such a surreal experience because this is something I have always envisioned myself doing for a living. I love everything about fashion and always have loved the way fashion can transform a person and how my vision can come to life so simply perfect. The only items that are not my own pieces are the models shoes. I want to share with you some of my photographs that I personally directed the style and direction with my own personal favorite pieces in my wardrobe!

Pinkfloral-dress

I love this playful photo of Alyssa. This pink floral silk Bebe dress (it’s almost 5 years old) is one of my absolute favorite pieces in my collection and is such a unique dress. It is such a fun and flirty dress to wear and play with and is paired with an orange gold studded belt as well as my favorite brown sunglasses.

maxi-floral

I have such an obsession with maxi dresses and this Arden B floral maxi is by far one of my top two favorite maxi dresses that I own. It looks absolutely fabulous on Sarah paired with a recent BaubleBar necklace purchase. I love LOVE her arm pose in this picture so effortlessly chic!

floral-bras

This is by far my favorite photo that I helped style. It’s such a playful yet sexy photo of the models. I made the floral bras simply out of various different fake flowers purchased at hobby lobby glued to the girls bras (that they didn’t care about). I’m so happy with the way the floral bras turned out it was above my expectations and my vision for this particular photo shoot.

I hope you like these photos that I styled as much as I do! Please feel free to ask me any questions about anything. I hope you are all doing simply fabulousness!

XOXO Rebeccah

Three simple rules

motivitonal-onestepforward

I love this 3 simple rules because it is so true that you have to go for what you want, ask questions which I’m guilty of not doing and take one step forward!  It’s a good reminder to me to ask more questions and if I don’t take risks to go after what you want you will never know. I also wanted to share with y’all this awesome and motivational video called “How to get anything you want” from my favorite funny motivational speaker ever Ms. Marie Forleo that I’ve shared a couple of times, you must check out this video here!  Let me know what you think about it! I hope y’all had a simply fabulousness weekend dolls!

Simply perfect color palette

I know I have shared one of my favorite sites that I check out weekly which is the Everygirl. I absolutely love their features of inspiring and amazing young woman role models giving us a peak of the work environment. I have very much so enjoyed the feature of Caitlin Wilson, interior designer and textile designer of some simply amazing fabrics that I have been totally drooling over since I’ve discovered her.

I have been such a busy bee these last couple of weeks. I’ve been doing some fashion styling work with Axial Fashion on several photo shoots which has been such an amazing and surreal experience that I have been so inspired to try to get into the Fashion styling industry. I have also decided to get my real estate license and have been taking classes on that recently. I have been using all of these products religiously for a couple months now and have been total lifesavers lately during the winter and now rolling into spring season. Some are old favorites that I have loved for a couple of years while others are new favorites that I have quickly been using every day. One of my favorite new purchases is this simply perfect purse which is Kate Spade Andee Cobble hill tote it can hold almost everything that I need everyday for work. It is by far my favorite purse I have ever bought, I highly recommend it for anyone that is looking for a new purse that is on the larger side (it can hold a 15″ Macbook Pro).

Motivational Monday

Amanda-Follow-dreams

Happy first Monday of March dolls! I’m excited for a fantastic start to a new week right before the start of spring break and the craziness of SXSW in Austin. It is going to be a gorgeous day of 87 degrees in the beginning of March is definitely going to be a hotter than normal day. I hope this quote inspires you as much as it does for me. Happy Monday dolls! xoxo

Bedroom Sneak peak

Happy March to y’all dolls! I love march madness month because it means the beginning of longer sun shinny days, SXSW, and the start to spring my favorite season of the year! I thought I would share a sneak peak into my bedroom makeover. I have almost completed my wall art and frame collage. I’m still in search of maybe two more frames but so far I’m loving it!  I’m trying to decide which curtains to get for my bedroom, can’t decide between soft pale pink or cream with gold accent curtains.

This gorgeous floral dress form I found recently at my local Homegoods store for a total score of only $58!  It’s almost like it was made for my room it goes so nicely with everything I currently have. It is very different (in an awesome way) than this one by PB Teen that I’ve had my eye on for a while now but just couldn’t shell out $200 on and I’m so happy that I didn’t.  I hope you have a simply fabulousness weekend!!

xoxo

New Style Role Model

I love finding new style role models that are so similar to my own style which is a lot of bright colors and golds colors meets modern with a mix of shabby chic and a splash of bohemian. I have shared with y’all some of my favorite interiors such as Tori’s fabulousness home that you can check out here and a close second is Ann Antuenes amazing home which I shared with y’all here. I recently found my current favorite new style, fashion and business sense role model which is Sheridan French. She owns her own fashion label named after her name which you can check out in more detail here and she is wearing all of her own clothes below in the photos.

I’m totally loving Sheridan’s pretty pink colorful leaf skirt that she is wearing above and it’s also one of her designs. The skirt looks so comfortable and such a fun versatile skirt to wear that would great for many occasions.

I’m totally in love with her bright yellow curtains in her living room especially with that pretty gold tassel on the sides  of the curtain makes it that much more fabulousness! I’m also loving the bright turquoise blue color accents and the colorful landscape painting.
